Georgie – Follow That Dress 2

Posted in Author, ebook, erotic romance, novella, romance with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on February 23, 2016 by mrsmack97

So…. I love this book. I loved writing it and creating Gee, a/k/a Georgie. She is flawed, beautiful and raw. With a passion for kink, young, innocent Georgie makes a poor judgement call and is forever marred by her past.

Hardened, she runs. Finding a home at Diamond Lil’s, the bar she calls home, is where Georgie truly comes alive, living her life as she sees fit.

And love? She never expected love, especially one that ignites her passion for all things kinky. Can the “lucky red dress” give her a happily ever after? When you “Follow That Dress” all things are possible.

My Birthday Wish For You…2015

My Birthday Wish For You…2015

It is again that time of year. In case you are new to this, every year on my birthday I give up my birthday wishes for a chance to pass them on to you, my friends, loved ones and dear readers. This year is no different. So here it goes.

I wish for you to make a new friend because we can never have enough.

I wish for you to experience the love of a rescue animal. It will do your soul some good.

I wish for you to be kind and remember whatever you put out into the universe will make its way back to your door—good or bad, so be careful.

I wish for you to keep your personal space clutter free and your mind will follow.

I wish for you to believe in a higher power. Life will be much easier to bear.

I wish for you a great love, one that rages in your soul like a thousand fires. And if you’ve found it like me, I wish for you to keep it. Everything is different without it.

I wish for you to be happy with yourself, love handles and all.

And remember…

Dieting still sucks but sickness is worse.

Broken hearts are terrible but never loving is worse.

Loneliness is a state of mind, find your purpose. It’s never too late.

Always try to see the glass half full. It makes a big difference. Trust me.

Give yourself a break, learn to relax. Free yourself from the electronics we favor to take a walk on the beach, near the river or in the park.

And…if for some reason you feel God has given you a second chance this year, be thankful.

Realize what’s important and love with your last breath. In the end that’s all there really ever is.

All my love always,

My Name Is Abby Monroe and I’ve Been Murdered

Posted in Author, Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 27, 2015 by mrsmack97

My name is Abby Monroe and I’ve been murdered.

I took my final breaths on an icy cold January night. The weeks before my death, I didn’t know I was the victim of a stalker. Her obsession ran deep. She wanted my life, my man. But at the time, I had to question which one.

I lived the swinger lifestyle, sharing with my friends turned me on. But my life was cut short by the steely blade of a friend. My rich, handsome boyfriend tried his best to save me, almost losing his life in the process. I loved him. But not the way he wanted me to.

So with my dying breath, I wished him love. I wished him a life he really wanted because underneath his cool facade, Raymond Armstrong wanted love. Real, all consuming, out of control, love. And that’s why I sent him Jules Worthington.

Shattered_Innocence (1)

Jules Worthington is a young writer looking for the story of her career. She gets her chance during the course of research at a local swing club when she meets sexy, damaged Raymond Armstrong. He and his friends have been treated unfairly by the media. His latest lover, Abby Monroe, said to be slaughtered inside his home while he played sex games was a blatant lie. He wants her reputation restored, giving Jules the chance at the exclusive of a lifetime. But when she finds herself falling hard for the dashing young entrepreneur, she must find a way to give him her body without giving up her heart.

Under Raymond’s watchful eye and experienced hand, Jules will uncover the secrets of The Enclave. With her innocence shattered, she learns about obsessive love, unrelenting desire and an all-consuming passion that will drive her to the brink of insanity.

A Real Writer Always Writes…Right?

Posted in Uncategorized with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 19, 2015 by mrsmack97

A Real Writer Always Writes…Right? I thought so. Until I hit a brick wall. I have plenty of WIP’s in my library and I’m excited about every one of them but I just can’t seem to get myself to sit down and focus. Even writing this blog is a labor. Why is this happening? As I struggle to maintain some online presence, I realize, those of my readers who are loyal to me might be wondering what I’m up to. And although it’s taking much longer than expected, I wanted to introduce you to my next venture. I am anticipating a summer release of a three part contemporary romance. Below is a snippet of what to expect.

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.
Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.

The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.
My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So slumbered I, perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn’t loud, and it wasn’t too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn’t quite know,
Then the sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.

My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.
Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.

A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Trooper, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

“What are you doing?” I asked without fear,
“Come in this moment. It’s freezing out here!

Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve,
You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!”
For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts.
To the window that danced with a warm fire’s light
He sighed and he said, “It’s really all right,
I’m out here by choice. I’m here every night.”

“It’s my duty to stand at the front of the line,
that separates you from the darkest of times.
No one had to ask or beg or implore me,
I’m proud to stand here like my fathers before me.
My Gramps died in Europe on a day in December,”
Then he said, “That’s a Christmas ‘Gram always remembers.
I’ve not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures. He’s sure got her smile.”

Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and Blue American Flag.
I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.
I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.
I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother.
Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall.”

“So go back inside,” he said, “harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I’ll be all right.”
“But isn’t there something I can do, at the least,
“Give you money,” I asked, “or prepare you a feast?
It seems all too little for all that you’ve done,
For being away from your wife and your son.”
Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret,
“Just tell us you love us, and never forget.

Please fight for our rights back at home while we’re gone,
Stand your own watch, no matter how long.
Because when we come home, either standing or dead,
Remember we fought hard and surely we bled.
this is payment enough, and with that we will trust,
that we mattered to you as you mattered to us.”

My holiday wish is for every person who has read this blog, please share this poem as it had been shared with me. Give our soldiers the support, love and caring they deserve. No matter what your belief, these men and women fight for freedom, the very freedom we take for granted each day. Let’s show them the love people. One by one.

Happy Holidays!!!!

Cherrie Mack

PLEASE,

Would you do me the kind favour of sending this to as many people as you can?

Christmas will be coming soon and some credit is due to our
service men and women for our being able to celebrate these festivities.

Let’s try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe.

Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed
themselves for us.
